clutch pedal on 32

Has anybody installed the "X" member from CHASSIS ENGINEERING on a 32 Ford frame and found out you can't install a cluch pedal because it hits the lowe portion of the X member when depressed? If anybody has any ideas or pictures, it would be of great help. I don't want to use hanging pedals.
If somebody makes a kit that fits or has used a particular brand, please chime in and pictures are more than welcomed. Thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,
Ernie

Could you possibly use a hydraulic slave and master clutch system? Have you called Chassis Engineering about the problem?

These guys have a bracket and pedal assembly that might work..

These guys sell pedals and you can build your own bracket.

I am using a hydrahulic clutch with slave cylinder. I also contacted Chassis Egineering and they said to go with an automatic tranny because they have heard from people like me with the same problem.
Seems to me when you depress the clutch pedal,,,,, the clutch arm hits the lower portion of the X frame. I would hate to cut the X member and make it weak, it also looks awsome now. Thanks guys and I appreciate your input.

Yea now isn't that a hell of an answer from Chassis Eng ??? If they've heard from others you might think that they would do a little re-engineering and make a fix for the 3 pedal boys. Looks like you're going to have to do some fabrication, obviously I can't see the frame but can't you cut the interference piece or modify it and add a stiffener near it. Has to be some way to do it, remember the body will cover up the chassis so know one will see it anyhow....good luck.
