clutch problem

my friends 97 3.8l camaro's clutch to get it to release you gota put it all the way to the floor. I've try'd bleeding the clutch no change. i did notice after releasing the pressure i had to pump it couple times to feel any pressure.could this be a clutch master cylinder or slave problem i really hope its not a slave cylinder

Either you have trapped air or the master is not sealing at the top of its travel, hence not displacing enough volume of fluid to give the slave the travel it needs to release the clutch properly/fully
Unless you have been working on the hydraulic system I would say its not air, most likely the master

we did have the quick connect at the slave cylinder disconnected when i connected it back had little air come out first time bleading the system

i blead the clutch couple times after but only fluid was coming out no air at any point
