Clutch throw pivot

During fitup of a 400 sb in a 70 short box pickup, my clutch pivot doesnt match frame are there other variations to choose from.

pivot balls

ill have a look at mine tomorrow in the day light
but the fork should have a spring retainer clip
what exactly is your trouble to big or to small or not enough adjustment IAN

I figured out where I went wrong

lack of experience, and The bell housing is the problem, Pickups and cars dont match, I have all the parts from later model with hydraulic clutch, I think I can convert my 70 to that, what do you think.

clutch

the hardest part will be mounting the pedal
assembly you'll need 2 people. hydrualic is the way to go
keep the hoses well away from hot exaust and sharp edges
slave cyls dont like heat either some need a heat shield
