I went out to look at a couple projects today, and was pretty impressed. I am looking for a small project, not too much work, and I found these two Novas, well one is a Acadian Beaumont (Canadian Nova).

The one is a '67 Nova, pretty nice really. Very minor rust, and needs drivers quarter work. Floors were all just replaced. I can get the car for around 2500

The other is a '62 Acadian Beaumont Convertible... wow nice car, couldn't get any good pics, cause its pretty well protected by other car parts. I have never seen one of these cars, and cannot find any info on it. This car has to be rare. The body is awesome, but has some wild 70's paint job, the interior looks real good. All this car needs is a top. He wants $5000, I'm pretty sure this is a real gem, but I want to find out how many of these were built. Only minus is the car is a 6 cyl 3 speed car, and I wouldn't wanna mess with its original parts to make it a V8 car.

Let me know if any of y'all can find any info on this convert, or already know something. In the next week or so I am going to buy a early Nova, I've found a few, like the 66-67's but could put up with a earlier one if this car is indeed rare.

I drove one (the US version) in high school. Excellent car, dependable, fairly comfortable, economical (by the standards of the day) and an all around good value just as a daily driver. Toss in the fact that it's now over 40 years old and barring any major accidents or damage it's value will only go up as a collectible. I'd say snag the 62, maintain it in stock condition and enjoy it for a long time.
