coats 20-20 tire machine

Wondering if anyone familiar with coats tire machines can help me out with a problem with mine. I filled my cylinder with hydraulic oil and installed the plastic breather plug. I notice now it shoots oil through the breather hole in the plastic cap everytime i use it. The plug looks fine to me is this plug only supposed to let air out when you release the pressure? Its just a cap with a small hole in it. Hope someone can help me out here not sure why this happening. Thanks in advance.
