coffee flavors that don't taste like straight black

Hello..
my doctor through all my test told me to stop drinking the caff loaded diet mountain dew..
as the fake sugar, I'm alergic too.. and tho. I want having any noticable affects, it was causing the white blood cells to work overtime, and when I did get a cold, I'd go down hill, fast..
that and the fake sugar, causes you to always be hungry..
so I stopped drinking the dew.. it's been 10-12 weeks. but I'm dead tired.. after work.. and getting nothing done at home, as I'm sleeping the whole time..
so.................
I hate the taste of straight black coffee..
looking for maybe try'n a flavored coffee to mask the bitter/bla.. that is coffee..
any ideas..
need some caff went from 3ltr of loaded caffeen moutain dew to no caffine.. and sleeping my life away..

and please no 5 hour shots tried one and was like my heart was running a marathon while I was in a chair..lol

why not a little cream in your coffee. No sugar there. All those flavored creamers are loaded with sugar so watch out.
Use real cow in there.
Some of the coffes have flavor in them , like hazel nut is pretty good.
I dont drink coffee black, and I dont care for tea. Unless its Sweet Ice Tea.

WOW. I thought I was the only one like that..
Only mine was Diet Coke.. Had to quit and I HATE coffee. Love the smell of a pot in the morning ,but can't stand to drink the stuff. Now it's McDonalds, drive thru, unsweet tea every morning and at lunch. Helps, but I still fall asleep in unusual places.(like under a car).

Another thing that nearly did me was Statin drugs. Prescribed after my first heart attack. Man, I couldn't even get out of bed in the morning and became a complete zombie. That from a confirmed workaholic. Had to quit those things..

yes it would.. sadly.. 6 years ago. my mother moved in.. as a temp fix . so she could get back on her feet.. she was on a 1way ticket to being on the street.. well.. temp. looks like perm. and cranking my hard rock isn't in the cards, unless out in garage..lol..
I have wireless headphone. but the issue there is I start singing along.. and I can't hold a note if I tried.. lol..
just need something to give a little kick, after driving an hour home from work.. I think the drive does me in. as I'm wide awake after work, but tired by the time I hit driveway..
stay'n up was never an issue I worked 90-100 hours weeks for 24 years..
drinking diet dew like it was water..
doctors said no more soda, and no more working around the clock..
never said nothing about working those hours on my hotrods hehe.. but without any caff. I'm so dead..
kahlua makes a coffee that smells great.. but might not like, I mean I love the smell of coffee, just not the taste..
sweet'n ice tea I like but, doctors say I need to loose 50 lb's and that won't help..lol

Your a good man for taking care of your mama.
Coffee is like liver and onions....one needs to aquire a taste for it. I hate liver and onions....but I loves ma coffee.
Truckers used to have caffiene pills for over the road, they dont seem to be around much anymore. Maybe ask the good doctor about it.

I used to put a mint flavored tea bag in with the coffee grounds when I made a pot. Changed the taste enough to make it different.

Baileys has an Irish Cream non alcoholic creamer, found in the dairy section of your local grocery store. I use it every day.

Maybe I missed something, but - how is drinking DECAF gonna help him stay awake?

The answer (for me) is STARBUCKS!
Whatever is their "high octane" dark roast of the day.
Add a pinch of sweetener (sugar, or in my case, about half of a blue package) and a shot of creme.

Heaven! (plus you are NOT gonna sleep THAT off!)

Caffeine is addictive just like cigarettes, booze or heroin.......The less you use the better. I have one coffee in the morning, water the rest of the day....no soda drinks at all.
