coil bind???

hi evryone, i've recently picked up some 1.6 pro magnum rockers and i am concerned about the potential for coil bind. is there anything that i can do with everything assembled as normal to check for this? i am also not sure of the installed height of the springs which i am sure adds abit of curve to answering my question. i guess its obvious that i'm very green at the finer details of heads. any tips or suggestions to try would be greatly appreciated as i don't want to risk damaging parts.
thanks for your time.

After determining your installed height. Mock up a valve/spring/retainer assembly. Set it up in a drill press or vise and compress the spring to your cams lift with the 1.6 rockers. Then try to insert a .060 feeler guage between the coils. If it fits you are ok.

If the head is on the engine. Crank engine assembly over till valve is at full lift and measure with feeler.
