coil pack pin placement
looking for info on pin placement for a coil pack off a 2004 gm 5.7. the plus has 4 wires, pink , black , dark brown , and the 4th varys from cylinder need to know V+,V-, excitor, etc. thanks for your time

Pink should be hot black is ground brown is a reference to the computer (so when you have a bad plug the CEl can come on and tell you you have a Cly _ misfire) and the purple/red/white or what ever other color is the "exciter" wire.

thanks for the info on the wiring, just didnt know if the exciter wire was +5v or not. got it to fire on 12v thanks again
