Coil spring for 350 on a S10

Hi guys, i expected to put a 350 small block chevy on a S10 frame for my 1950 GMC. The question is; Can i use the original S10 front coil spring or if i put a heavier one. Thanks for all.

You can keep the stock springs. They are stiffer then V8 monte carlos. It will just sit a bit lower.

the tires will bottom out, especially with drop spindles. it will sway even with a stock diameter swaybar. unless you are not gonna drive it like it has a smallblock then youll be fine. bigger coils from a 1 ton truck or aftermarket and a swarbar atleast 1 1/8 in diameter.

I've done a bunch of the V-8 S-10 swap. I've never had any trouble with the springs or drop spindles. I would use the headers from Sanderson they fit nice.

Thanks for all guys, i'm not a pro in this case and i'm gonna take your proposition. With a new pair of coil spring, i'm gonna be sure of it. Thanks again.
