Coil Springs
I just received some new coil springs. One end of the coil is flattened out and on the other end the coil is just cut off at a given coil length. Which is the top and which is the bottom when installed ?

The spring seat is usually built into the lower "A" frame....of a GM anyways.....We are talking about front springs, right?

You may also need a rubber isolation for the top of the spring. On the MII front springs the flattened end is the top and the cut end fits into a slot on the lower A arm. Isolation pad goes on top in the tower.:welcome:
