cold air for a Fat CAt !

hey everyone... well the car i think could benefit from cold air. so that being said what would be the best way to go about this? I have a carb so it has to attach to that.. and i would like to get this symmetrical so two tunnels . I do have 4 lights and i could cut one per side but.. i rather not.. and im sure i should use filters but what type could i use the cone type or use flat ? Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Maybe theres a system i could buy for this or another one i could i modify ....

thanks everyone

How about a carb-mounted two-snorkel air cleaner housing like the carbed HO Mustang unit (or a home-built facsimile) with tubes running to a source of outside air? Or, if your bank account's healthier than mine, check out www.ramairbox.com .

I use the Ram Air Box. Cold/ram air is defintely the only way to go. I pick up air under the bumper using scoops for heater ducts.

darn rights doggy.... sweet.. i totally want that... and its gotta be the dual setup i looked at the sight.. and its defiantly what i want... but ordering it looks complicated... i don't know exactly the size i want..
If anyone had time ... i have a 670 Holley 4 barrel double pumper street avenger on a 70 cougar with a Cleavland stock manifold...and as well i would probably need the drop plate or what ever its called to make it a touch lower.... and maybe like 14 inches across? All i guess i want is the box set up i don't need the tubes and fittings .. i can at least do that much

Anyways thanks i cant wait till i eventualy get this setup it'll be so BOSS!

thanks
bill
