Cold weather starts
The temps have now dropped and I was wondering if any of you warm your auto up. If yes how long? I ask because I have to much money into my truck to start all over again. LOL
On my carbureted Model A (350 engine) I warm it up until it gets to normal operating temp. On my newer fuel injected vehicles I let it warm up for about three minutes when the air temp is in the twenties or below.
Up here this week......you are lucky IF it starts...........................
on cold days like we are havin this week i let it run 2mins to get oil flowin then drive i find it warms up faster then
Unless it's an emergency, I let anything I start run until the choke kicks off, especially in cold weather.
If you don't make mistakes. your not doing anything.
