Colorado Classic (artistic render)

whats up HotRodders? my name Zak and i create custom vehicle renders as a hobby (for now) and i'm a trucker, whether it be new/old/mini/fullsize...anything to do w/ the trucks, im your man. i'm heavly into the custom scene and appreciate a nice custom when i see one...fabrication, design, innovation, paint, body, w/e it is. but im a trucker and heart.

anyways i've just completed my lastest render. its a single cab 2005 Chevy Colorado. i sectioned the body about 3-4" (relative). bodydropped/channelled to lay rocker, i prefer to say that its on airbags/struts rather than hydros. shaved the handles and the front bowtie, the middle body line was ix-nayed after the sectioin. i put it on some Intro Smoothie wheels, i'd say 18s or 19s. two tone paint w/ a silver leaf seperater.

i'm just lookin for opinions outside the minitruck realm. i was definitaly goin for an old school/rodder feel and i'd like to know what you guys/gals think.

also, if you have any ideas for your own project, shoot me an email and my be able to create something for you. these renders and very attractive to sponsors.

It looks good, you have some good drawing skills. The only things I would do to it is chop the top, not alot maybe just an inch or two, and smoke the headlights, it would give it a meaner look.

Can't Begin to count the cars I have painted over the years but I think with a drawing like that and than the ideas Segge just come up with your either born with it or not.

I'm not.
I watch Fouse draw out color schemes and I just can't do it other than copy an existing one with a slight change.
Send the picture to GM maybe it will at least wake them up.

I wish I had your talent, stick figures are tough for me. What can you do with a silver and purple paint scheme for a 36 Ford 5window, there's a pic in my album. Silver on the bottom, deep purple on top, I don't know where to split the difference and still have a bit of a different look for it. Dan

Looks awesome man, I can do some drawings myself that arent to bad, but nothing compared to what you can do! I might just have to send you an email to see what you can come up with as for ideas on a truck like mine, since I to am a custom truck kinda guy.

let me elaborate. first off. Trucks Hittin Concrete. look at the site, dont assume.

secondly...i was planning on starting up a new company this summer, that is going on hold now because of this new oppertunity. like i said, i'm new at this...and the experience with an already established company, will help me in the long run.

lastly. the company that picked me up has been in business for almost 3years and is one of the leading graphic design firms in the industry. they've been in Truckin, Sporttruck, Minitruckin, etc... they have created designs for the top manufactures and advertisers in the country including KMC, Pirelli, GM, etc...

again, do not assume...i was completely geniune in this thread and i feel that you are jumping to conclusions and make yourself look like an a55.
