Combination Value Question
I recently purchased a '68 Impala wagon which has a front disk brake conversion. It has a new booster and master cylinder. The front disk do not seem to be working at all as the rotors have a slight glaze on them like the pads have only been barely touching (the car barely stops). The rotors have no rust (if they had been sitting) or shine as if they were working. I bought a
motive products power bleeder as it is most likely a bleeding problem. My question is that the combination valve (which is the same as Master Power Brakes sells) seems to have a relief valve but is not the type that can be released to allow proper bleeding of the front brakes. What do I need to do the ensure that I properly bleed the front brakes to get everything working. |

Put about 20-30 psi in your bleeder and bleed them as if there is no valve . The fluid should go right through.
