I think they would ,the Goldwing clip could be headlights and the Escort could be high beam or fog lights/road lights ,lol,,
in Ga if they are on vehicle they MUST work or be removed or covered ,might be the same every where I don't know.

Believe it or not I actually gave some thought on building a trike using the power unit from a front wheel drive car. Something on the order of the VW powered trikes. Oh well too many ideas and not enough time..

Had a buddy that built one with a 455 Toronado front wheel drive engine and transaxle. The body was built using 51 Chevy rear truck fenders as main componant. It made a unique trike. Sometimes he would even leave the front wheel on the ground.

There is a 66 Corvair that comes up to the car show with a Toronado 455 and trans axle set up mounted in where rear seat should set with a removable fiberglass cover over the engine,,but on a trike ,That would be a wild ride,
