I seriously doubt this was a Shelby when he started though. They made 600,000 of those in 66 I don't think making a Ranchero out of one of them is breaking many hearts. Honestly, I think they did a spectacular job! It looks like Henry made it. I would personally have left off all the Shelby stuff because it becomes unbelievable at that point. If he would have made it with stock wheel covers and more of a strippo like a real Ranchero would likely have been it would be cooler but that's just my opinion.

Make sure to get one with deep tint windows so know one can see you.

Reminds me of that joke:

What do a mo-peds and over weight women have in common?

Possibly but did you notice the European licence plate?
Saying that Galpin Ford in Sepulvida, Ca. did things like this when the mustangs first. I was working at a Ford dealership about 10 miles away and was aware of some of the stuff they did. Mustangs with rumble seats and sunroofs were just a couple of things I saw.

Could have possibly been imported. To be honest, I did not notice the plate.

I'v seen a Mustang skinned Ranchero and other than a couple small details, you can't tell it's not a Mustang

Looking a little closer all the cars have European plates. British I believe.
Looking even closer maybe the Union Jack flying from numerous antennas might have been a clue! Pip, pip and all that rot!
