Im going to cut this short because I just spent the last 20 mins typing out how much I despise the donk fad and why I do. I deleted Iit all because I was still going and realized how long it was. The fad in its entirety is ridiculous. Im not even able to joke about it it upsets me that much because of such abuse to the autos and whats worse is the owners not only not caring doing it but thinking its cool to do so. I crap smarter beings. Not trying to be a downer on the fun sorry. Keep it going! The fun not ranting lol.

sad part is some of the designs of those big 28" rims are nice, and would look great on a lifted tuck with 37" on it..

Some parts of the 70s were like the 60s - - "if you remember them then you weren't really there."

Of course you're referring to the " We don't need no stinking side mouldings! The partial double sided rubber moulding tape is just as good" school of body moulding adornment.
Classy!

That actually looks like it could be a factory landau option from that era. Not my "thing" but nicely done.

Remember the 73-75 era Cutlass with a flowered "Mod Top" option. I can't find a pic but a guy I worked with around that time bought one new...

Lots of flowery, psychedelic carry over to the cars around that time.
