I was visiting a Corvette forum and came across a build of a 56. I didn't know if I should vomit or cry when I saw this dash! The previous owner cut the original dash up and put this late model Camaro mess in! OMG

Different idea if each gauge had its own lense bezel facing with surround bezel. I have a feeling the fab moulding will only have a flat shade suuround leaving the entire factory lense cover alone being well ugly.

Interested to see when fabbing is complete to give the final opinion. Gauge pods/clusters are hard to setup the right flow....hmmm.....yea hmmm.....

I didn't want to say being this whole death thing is no joke but the guy died during the build and that is why the car was sold.

Yes he put the whole Camaro drive train, notice the PILE of wife. He also moulded off the cowl vent and made small wheel well lips out of bondo.

The guy is now doing a beautiful job on it.

The old owner who did the beautiful dash work died, the new owner is building it right. He removed the flares from the fenders, he removed the crap he used to fill the cowl vent and looks like he is doing a real stand up job on the car.
