What a shame that it is rusting away, what a shame.

John we can go halfers, remove the sedan roof and add a 40 Ford grill below the front windshield.

Just think of the conversations at the Sonic,

Some unknown person spent a LOT of time & effort on that

He must have thought it was cool (at least while "designing" it)

The fact that it is now sitting, unused and rusting away in a field tells the rest of the story

It's a 60's GM bus and the headlights are the originals although they were mounted much lower. I'm wondering where it was steered from ??? Did they relocate the column to the center to look out the lower window or on the "fly bridge' and peer all the way down from there...

It certianly is "different" and it is interesting to wonder if it ever saw the highway after the modification.

John, I would say a few photos of this bus at your next evening get together with your car friends could create a hell of a discussion on what parts are what.

True. I would still love to know it's history and see a picture of it at it's prime. You have to wonder if it ever moved under its own power.

Can't you just picture that beast going down the road. Talk about getting to know your neighbors at the campground.......
