no problem , like i said it is pouring out . this make it not so boring.

the price is right as they are getting about $100 each for used ,then you have 2 days at the least to polish them up.

if you buy the reproduction slots from American Racing; they must have used a front-runner style rim (shallow dish) as their master. They dont have that classic deep dish the Ansens, ETs and Halibrands had. They also use a different centercap and lugnuts.

JD Wheels sell Halibrand clones. THey use standard 60* conical seat lugnuts.

Yeah, copy. The original had photos circulating for a while but IIRC they were removed due to an infringement claim.

This is also the reproduction:

Wish I could have gotten a pic but (use your imagination)

A pair of Harleys - the full dresser versions - with Donk wheels - about 28 or so inchers. One had milled aluminum customs, the other was wearing the Dayton "thousand spoke" style. Saw them alongside me in traffic - they stopped and turned off - couldn't get my camera out in time.

How about an Alsa Chrome painted Vette!

It's like I told my son, it's kinda funny to paint a fiberglass car with this paint, most anyone KNOWS it's paint. Now if you painted a steel car at least you would get people wondering if you chrome plated it. What was really sad was it wasn't cut and buffed so it looked like a chrome plated bag of beans.

What was that? An International? You could put that one in the Trivia thread.
