Come now, it's just a little ding. :)

This is a NEW roof skin we got today from the dealer for a Ford we are working on. I had fun with it being the guys will aways cry and moan about little damage to new parts that we can easily fix and get the car into production instead of waiting a couple more days. I just said, "look, it will take a week to get anohter one, FIX it".

Brian

Brian, you should be ashamed of yourself for using "common sense" - - - don't you know that way of thinking has been banned from all repair shops ???

Ha-ha reminds me of a slightly overweight girl I used to go to HS with, she was so happy to see her boyfriend she jumped on the hood of his brand new Mustang when he arrived at the camping party we were having at a local park dimpling the corners just like that roof.

Me and my buddies both cringed when it happened and turned away, I couldn't watch...it was painful. She also cheated on him in that same weekend, with the lowest life dirtbag you could ever hope to meet.

I felt so sorry for that poor guy.

That looks like some of what salvage dealers call 'light collision damage' in the Auto Trader rag. Those usually look like the big loser in the demo derby at the fairgrounds.

Yep - turn that top over and get 'slim' to sit on the inner side - and out it pops, it will be just like new
