comp cams 286 hydr. roller?

does anyone run comp cams 286hr roller cam? and how does it perform? does it have a lopy idle that everyone wants.

Hi Know one else has said anything so l'll threw 2cents in! l don't have the 286 but l do have a 270H and a 280H and both of them are alittle lumpy more so the 280H but with your 286H you'll need to make atleast 9.5 compression same as the 280H ! Wife hates it but l like it!! Good pull to it! TROY

There is quite a difference between a 286HR and a 280H they really wont act the same. The 280H is an aggresive cam which will rattle pretty good for a flat tappet but the 286HR is pretty middle of the road for a roller, if you want to be sure you have the aggressive tones you are looking for you probably will want the 300HR. However this will sacrifice your low end alot. I guess it is all about what is important to you.

However I think you will get a decent lope out of the cam. The higher the compression and the tighter the rings the more profound the lope will be.
