Comp Cams
Well Guys, I have a dilema. I am looking at the Comp cam pages in Jegs and I have narrowed it down to three possible cams. The High Energy 268H. The Extreme Energy 268H or the Extreme Energy 262H. What I have is a basicaly stock 275 hp 327.. all that has been done to it is a Offy dual plane manifold, Edlebrock 600cfm carb and block hugger headers. Trans is T400..What decision would any of you make? I still want it very streetable. I will buy the complete cam and K kit. What do you think?

for your combo I would run the 262 extreme energy. for a stock engine you sure don`t want to go overboard. add a double roller timing chain while your in there.

Doublevision: I think you're right. the more I look at it the more I like it. It has a split lift. a little more lift than the 268H high Energy, and a power curve a little more friendly than the 268H.. Thanks for the input. If any one else out there has any input I would like to hear it...Thanks to all......GlennK

hey guys I heard some were on hotrodders bulletin that someone put a comp cam in there chevy 350 and that it messed up the fuel pump. What do you guys think? I was just wondering because I have a friend that wants to put one in his car.
