compression test

hi , I did a compression test on a 350 chevy , here is what I got (1)180 (3)175 (5)180 (7)175 psi other side (2)170 (4)165 (6)165 (8)162. engine runs and sounds uneven and is very rich as spark plugs are black . there no water in the oil but can see water drops up top of the valve covers. is this a blown head gasket or something more.

Engine is OK. compression reading is acceptable. Should run fine. Rebuild the carb, as it is obviously running rich, fouling plugs and making it run rough.
Water is a normal by product of combustion. A warmed up motor will dry the moisture out through the PCV system after it runs a while. Nothing to be alarmed about.

x2 ^^^^^ what he said. Could have ignition issues also, but those compression readings are fine.
