Compressor part question

I have a Husky 32 gal. 1.7 hp compressor that I do general projects with in the house and garage. I accidentally pulled it over on the floor and had some minor breakage. I replaced the nipple leading from the tank, but I have a small hose that is leading from the copper pipe in the back. that flies around uncontrollably when I turn the comp. on. I cannot get the comp. to hold more than 25lbs psi. I know where the hose went originally, but I cannot get the hose back in to that piece. It looks like it may have been broken in teh fall as well.Does anyone here know what the name of the piece that this hose might fit? I looked at different comps. at home depot (mine is no longer made) where I orginally bought the comp., but they do not sell the piece and I get no help from the staff. Thanks for the help.

You didn't really have enough info such as where the hose leads to from the pipe? I will make a guess here and say this is the hose that runs from the pump to tank supply line to the pressure switch? If so you MUST reattach this line to the proper connection and if that is damaged then you may need to replace the pressure switch. You could plug the hose and then the compressor would build up pressure (assuming I am guessing right about the parts) but the motor would probably stall when it tries to restart the pump when the pressure drops. If you do not reattach this hose the motor could be damaged due to excessive start-up torque requirements.

Any chance you could get some pics of this thing?
