compressor sugestion for small blast cabinet and some painting
I am guessing 5hp 2 stage from all the reading I have been doing I would like a quiet one in the $1500 range the entry level Quincy Curtis Champion and Eaton's have been what I have been looking into 5hp 60s . Anyone have any advise or experiences with these compressors with a 10-15cfm blast cabinet and the noise level. Thanks Tim

Before considering the Chinese Eaton you might want to check this out if you have not done so already,
Eaton Compressor threatens to sue me over "Made in China" compressor post The American built Quincy is IMHO the top of the line and you can't go wrong there. |

I have read that post. If you try doing any search for Eaton you will see that one. I have been wearing out the search button and the Google has been on fire. I dont mind spending a reasonable amount of money on any one of the above. I just dont want to regret it or need more. Anouther thing I have seen on alot of these they all seem to be Capaciter start. On a 5hp is that a bad thing to not have a Mag start?
