Computer controlled HEI engine with adjustable advance?

Timing can be adjusted in all GM ECMs, no reason to change to an aftermarket.

Depending on the ECM/PCM there are differant size resolutions. This would be a middle ground. Also this is for Open Throttle, there is also one for Closed Throttle.

In other words more then enough.
