Trust me, don't attempt it. The best you can do for what you have is make sure it's the carb. Why I say this is because these cars came with miles of vacuum line and a majority of it is more than likely cracked and broken.
These cars also have a MAP sensor, it's just not under the hood, it's ran to the kick panel on the passengers side front, under the glove box to the right. Check the vacuum line going to it, you'll find it's likely broken as well. Once you fix all the vacuum leaks it has then see how it runs.

It would hook up and function the same as the dual jet, but chances are with an adapter from a 4 bbl to the 2 bbl intake it would not give much of a performance boost. hood clearance would be a problem. Also if it has been setting for any time at all, and because it is old to start with, putting it on without rebuilding will probably just muddy the waters.
Nothing I recall was built with a sideways motor that had a quadrajet.
Remember the intake can be changed but if you use an intake from any rear wheel drive, the carb will be oriented so it sets on the motor at a 90 degree angle and wont perform well due to fuel slosh uncovering the jet in the carb facing the front.
Just rebuild the 2 barrel.

This is fine if you can close the hood on it with the adapter in there. The only thing the computer is doing is controlling the primary metering which is the same, and only for the DualJet, and the QuadraJet.

As noted above, the dual jet is exactly the same as the front half of a CCC Qjet. The Qjet secondaries operate without the computer. If you really want to do this, get a correct 4bbl intake for your 231. Using it with an adapter is a complete waste of time. Also as others have noted, be SURE the problem is with the carb. Few people take the time to really understand the CCC system, and something as simple as a leaking vacuum line or mis-adjusted carb can cause significant driveability problems. Also look to things that are not computer controlled, like the A.I.R. system, which can go bad and pump fresh air at the O2 sensor in closed loop mode, which then triggers the carb to run full rich. The CCC system runs very well when adjusted properly, but few have the patience to do that.

The reason i say the dueljet is bad is becausde it leaks fuel and vacuum at the throttle arm and the accelerator pump isnt this the signs of death on the carb btw im 21 and totally cluelesd to the ccc thing also was the 231 ever four barrel power ive put a 1/4 inch bumpstick in it myself i know its kind of sacreligous to toy with a 6 banger but my goal
Is to have something most people would never do it currently has lp5 heads and been bore over .30 over also have no clue how to tune one of these carbs ive tryed getting the repair manual at myl local parts store they got one that didnt cover the dualjet 210
Thus car also has no smog pump nor a cat

Oh and also the engine will not start unless throttle is mashed to floor and held whole time is on itl run by itself for a brief pitter patter then die ive never opened this c arb due to my fear of it being far to complex or wasting my money because ive always heard rochesters never come out right after a rebuild
