Computer/fuel Injection Conversion.

Has any one done this with a factory harness. I know Painless Wiring is supposed to make a harness to convert.
This ain't really a Hotrod but it's my '84 GMC (carbed 454) 1 ton and I want to put a motor in from an '89 GMC (fuel inj. 454). I have access to the entire harness from the '89 if it is feasible to dissect it and make it work.

Hi,
There should be no problem changing over, you'll need the computer out of the 89 or from Holly or another a.m.mfg as well, You know about the differences in the fuel delivery systems, I'd probably take that from the 89 also.
