Post computer stress

I was told to get with the times. So I went and got me a computer . Which is nice, I am able to recearch easier. But, then you have to have the scanner and the printer. Oh and you got to have the digital camera. The list just keeps going. I remember when friends or whoever cam over and we fixed tuned our vehicles and laughed and had fun trying different aproaches to make them better. It was even fun to try to diagnose problems over the phone. There has been alot of fixes made while on a one on one conversation. Ill agree it is sure nice to visit with people all the way around the world, about building and tuning hotrods, and all the different versions of it. What I can say is half the time when this computer fails, I go to my shop and play with my car or something in the shop, It sure relaxes me. Plus it always puts a smile on my face. So I was just curious, does these computers stress any body else?

I'm an electronics major, so I love working on my computer as much as I enjoy wreching on my cars. I've built and modded my own gaming computer (it now fears a soldering iron ) Once you understand how a computer works, most of the frustrations will disappear since you know how to prevent your troubles.

What stress?

Actually, I've been lucky enough to not have any computer problems, not self-imposed that is, since I upgraded to Windows XP. Now, Windows ME was a nightmare! It crashed more often that Ted Kennedy on a 3 day bender.

Remember: There isn't a computer problem that can't be solved with a creative application of high explosives..... or a really big hammer.

Cheers!

Having got a computer, the printer, the scanner, the broadband
connection I had to get a USB hub to connect it all.It was great for a few weeks, then it was nothing but problems.I took it to the repair man and everytime it worked okay in his shop.On the umpteenth time I bought it home and quickly connected the essentials without the hub, worked perfect. So from now on if it has to go in again, I am going to take the whole deal, not just the computer.Got me a new hub and itīs been no trouble.
