Con Rod Clearance
Hey guys what kind of clearance should I be looking for between my con rod big end and crankshaft journal??

The information i have says .008-.014 side play on the connecting rods and thats for a small block chevy.........

rod clearance
.008 to.016 is good for side clearnce but you only want .0015 to .0025 on rhe bearing

I sure can. SBC 383 stroker flat tops naturally aspirated 10.9:1 comp ratio running on 94 octane pro dart 1 aluminum heads still need to find cam and carb.
