confused about fuses
  Can anyone tell me what might e causing my lighter/courtesy light fuse to keep burning out? It only seems to do it when the lighter is in to long.

It is telling you to replace the lighter.... They are on the same circuit!!

the fuse will blow when...
the wire is getting ready to melt. So the fuse blows first to save the wire so change the lighter its bad. Now this could be the lighter itself and not the socket so find another lighter and try that before you go and change out the whole thing.

Before you go and buy a new lighter..check whether the current lighter is tight..I had a problem that turned out being, the lighter was loose and the hot lead was grounding out..

thanks guys, and I am trying to quit smoking. the lighter is original equipment on the Monte and I like to have everything working on it. The comment was still frickin funny.
