Post Connecting rod weights

Hey guys

I hope this make's since

When you buy stock chevy connecting rod
how close in weight are they ?
And then when you get them balanced
how close are they ?

I am not sure how close they are factory, a machinist can chime in on that. I think they can be 10 grams or so off. As for after balancing they should be within a gram.

there are several series of small block chevy (Big blocks too) rods in both heavy and lite weight, check the code letter on the rod then match the correct rod to what you have, the standard of the balance people is 1/2 gram +or-.
