Question Connecting Rods

I want to reuse the existing connecting rods but didnt label them during removal, since I have a new crank with matching bearings does it matter what order I re-install the rods???

As long as you didn`t mix the rod caps, your in luck, the rods don`t have to run in the exact order as they came out, but the bearing locks made into the rod, must be pointed to the outside of the block, if your having new pistons installed, have your machine shop label them on the piston tops by there numbers. If not, the machinist can still tell how they run. when I had this problem, I just looked at the piston, looked at the "front" arrow and looked at the rod lock, if it points to the outside of the block per that cylinder bank, then it`s okay, if you get this wrong, you`ll know it in a hurry since the crank will bind.
