conversion

how hard will it be to switch from fmx to c6 and what will be needed to change

stu 01-20-2005 10:56 AM

First we have to know what vehicle, model, year, engine.
You know. That sort of stuff.
How difficult depends on your skill level.
To me it would be a walk in the park.

sorry

it is a 70 torino GT w/351c
am 16 years old little experience but my dad (40years experience) will help me

Ok now another question.
Why do you want to change it?
FMX takes less power than a C6.
FMX is stronger.

kylejohn 01-23-2005 11:47 AM

why

because i need a bell housing for the fmx and i can get the c6 for free:cool:

stu 01-23-2005 11:51 AM

What do you have in there now?

kylejohn 01-23-2005 11:57 AM

nothing

i don't have anything in it now but it had a fmx in it before i bought it(I think?)

stu 01-24-2005 02:13 PM

You will need;
a flex plate,
starter,
dust cover,
probably have to rework the cross member and mount,
cut the drive shaft.
KD linkage.
For starters.
