Question conversion

how hard will it be to switch from fmx to c6 and what will be needed to change

First we have to know what vehicle, model, year, engine.
You know. That sort of stuff.
How difficult depends on your skill level.
To me it would be a walk in the park.

Ok now another question.
Why do you want to change it?
FMX takes less power than a C6.
FMX is stronger.

because i need a bell housing for the fmx and i can get the c6 for free

i don't have anything in it now but it had a fmx in it before i bought it(I think?)

You will need;
a flex plate,
starter,
dust cover,
probably have to rework the cross member and mount,
cut the drive shaft.
KD linkage.
For starters.
