Convert External Regulator To Internal Regulator
I Have An Alternator For A 1987 Full Size Bronco 302 Which Has An Internal Regulator. I Changed This Alternator From My Bronco Because I Went To A Higher Amp Alternator. I Want To Use The Alternator I Removed On A 83 F150 302 How Do I Rewire From The External Regulator To The Internal Regulator.

Well, I see no one answered your question. I think that is because that's a tough question to answer. I think the conversion can be done but it would seem to be a lot of trouble. I'm not a Ford guy so I'm not really familiar with the charging system. But take a look at these two pages on the Ford charging system and pay close attention to the charging schematic and see if you want to pursue this further.
