Question Convert From V6 to V8 in 86 camaro???

Hello All,
I have a base model sport coupe camaro.... It originally came with a MFI 2.8L V6 in it... How har will it be to drop a 305 HO in it with a standard four barrel carb??? I know it will bolt up fine I am just wondering about the wiring situation... Isn't there quiet a bit more wiring involved in an MFI setup than is in a V8 with a 4BBL carb??? Can anyone give me any advice please... Thanks...

My email is: heathen@direcway.com

Thanks Again.... <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

actually it might be even easyer, the tbi on the v6 and the v8 tbi from the same year are actually identical with the exception of the wires to the injectors, so a tbi v8 or crossram will hook right up, with the only modification being cutting the wires to the injectors and reterminateing them to reach the injectors on the v8. say the crossram 350. which i would put in there. (no offence intented to you guys running a 305, but when you are upgradeing anyway it would be stoopid to pick what i think is one of the worst performance V8 engines to ever sit in a camaro)

go find a crossram 350, and drop it in. and if you can spare the 2000 get a brand spanking new goodwrench 250 hp motor and pick up the crossram at a swapmeet for 2-300 bucks.

my 0.02$ worth
