converter bolts

not really a tech question, but has anyone ever had torque converter bolts come loose, i just had to deal with it happening and it took about 3 days to figure it out.

Yeah! My buddy's 84 trans am lost all three. It had been making a noise for a year that sounded like the ring gear teeth on the flexplate were hitting the inspection cover (common problem). Then one day it just wouldn't move. He assumed that the 700r4 finally died. When we went to remove the tranny we discovered that there were NO bolts in the TC at all.
