Beautiful work, Kudos, that's a job to be proud of, looks very straight with a beautiful finish and to reiterate, your talent was never in question.

So, I plan on putting some bracing across the door openings and mainly because it seems real flexible right now, I have the rear of the car up on stands right at the rear of the side frame rails, before the rear end, and there is no trunk lid on his car and when I lean on the rear trunk opening the back half of the car really moves, so much that I can see it flexing at the door/quarter opening, and when I had a buddy lean on it it opens the door gap more than a 1/4" more than what it is, I'm not sure if this is normal for convertibles, maybe someone here will know.

Yes it is for many of them. That is why you need the bracing. Many times if you open the door on a convertible on a frame lift you can not close it again until you let the lift down.

Exactly right John, the bracing should go on before the car is lifted front or rear, 1/4 inch now in the door gaps when somebody leans on it, can you imagine if it's not braced and over time, turning it around a few times to work on the bottom??? Get the car level with even weight distribution, if at all possible with the doors on and brace it.
