I am currently in the process of restoring my 68 Beetle convertible and was wondering if anyone can help me to find a GOOD top shop in the Northern Colorado area. I was thinking of doing it myself, but with zero experience I would hate to pay big bucks for a top and proceed to tear the darn thing to pieces. I need to keep my budget in mind too, can't spend much more than $1200.00 on the top, headliner, padding, and bows. After looking at the quality of some that were installed by the local VW shops I want to stay away from them and look more at the custom shops and hotrodder shops. Any ideas?

Look for someone advertising canvas repair or possibly an interior shop. Let your fingers do the walking. You can buy a replacement top and have it installed professionally.
