converting 1938 chevrolet from 6 lug to 5 lug drums

I am looking for the easiest way to convert my chevy from 6 lug to 5 lug . Can it be done without changing out the front suspention? and original rear axle ? This car is a nice 38 chevy coupe all original unrestored ., I just want to be able to run a set of Radir wheels on it . and pretty much leave everything else alone. Any help you guys advise will be greatly apreciated. Thanks, junky

6 lug to 5 lug

There are adapters out there that you can buy to do this, very easy setup. I will try to find the web sites for you. You can also buy Radial tires for your six lug rims.
