Question converting from 5 speed to older auto.

Ive got a 90 1500 pickup and ive change the 5 speed to a older style auto th400 what do i have to do to get drive shaft put back in. the yolk with the 5 speed wont line up and the other yolk i have doesnt seem to be long enough

IF YOU HAVE A SHORT TAIL 400 THEY ONLY USE ONE YOKE, THE LONG TAIL USED WHAT LOOKED LIKE A LONGER YOKE BUT THE SPLINES INSIDE THE YOKE WERE THE SAME LENGTH AS THE SHORT ONE, WHAT I" SAYING IS IF YOU HAVE A 400 YOKE IT SHOULD WORK. GOOD LUCK.
