converting 9" ford rearend with 4.75 b.c. to disc brakes
I am wanting to convert a 9" rearend with redrilled to chevy 4.75 b.c. axles to a disc brake rear without buying the high buck aftermarket conversion, does anyone have any suggestions for this using parts store available rotors and calipers to where I can use or build mounting bracket. I would also like to have e-brake as part of the setup. all suggestions appreciated. Thanks CarMazed

Welcome to HRBB. this is a good place.
take the rotors to a machine shop and have them drilled to your 4.75' pattern. Here is a site that someone posted here recently that has some inexpensive brackets http://www.scarebird.com/6928.html Look around here on the site, search the posts and the knowledge base. there is alot of info here re rear disc setups.hope this helps, mikey
