Converting Pontiac 400 to Adjustable rockers

Anyone know what is takes to convert a pontiac 400 to adjustable rockers. I have 6X heads with screw in rocker studs. Do I have to change the rocker studs to use polylocks?

There are polylocks made for either the 3/8 bottleneck studs or the straight 7/16 studs.

Go Big Chevy. Get BBC studs, rocker balls and lock nuts and replace your Pontiac parts accordingly. You can use 7/16 polylocks if they will clear your valve covers.

You should use straight studs, not the bottleneck studs if you want to have the better set-up. Use the BN studs if you're running a stock cam, but a bigger cam should use the stiffer studs, IMO.

Thanks for the info gents. I ended up using BBC studs and lock nuts. I tried polylocks but the studs were too long and when I screwed the polylock nut on the threads protruded out the top.
