Convo Pro wheels for '73 Camaro

A friend of mine is offering a set of Convo Pro wheels in good condition with halfway decent tires for $400 bucks. Is it worth it?

They are for a '73 Camaro. The wheels are 15" x 8.5".

I assume by set you mean all 4, if they're in good shape and the tires are halfway decent that sounds reasonable. Those are about $175.00 each new without tires.

I dig those wheels,I suggested them a few days ago for the guy with the older Firebird. They are nice looking rims for a car that runs a wide back tire.

I use hten on my truck too. 85 short bed. I have the older style with squared accent's rather then rounded. If I cleaned the brake dust off they look really good. 295/50/15 out back and 245/60/15 in front.

That is a bad 'Bird in thoses pictures. Back in the late 80's a buddy of mine had a black one with the red chicken on the hood. We would go out in that thing on the weekends ands could pull girls all night long in that car. Memories of yesteryear....

I'll either pick them up tonight or tommorow. He has some bald 295s on the rear rims now. He is giving me some decent 275s to remount on them. I think 275 is as much as I can fit anyway. I have air shocks in the rear.

The health has been up and down. They started me on Oxycodone every 12 hours regularly for pain. That is in addition to the Hydrocodone I am already taking.

I have been working until I nearly drop lately. It got me a decent raise, but I pay every night when I get home.

Haven't got to the car much so the addition of the rims will get it back on track.

I got the Convo Pros today. They have 295s on the back wheels. I was able to fit them in my '73 Camaro. I had to use 1/4" wheels spacers to clear my air shocks. They are pretty nice.

I am sick as a dog or I would send pictures. I need to take some good pictures for my photo album anyway. That way every can see my 11:1 beast.

Don't worry. I am not sick from the Crohn's. I just have the flu. My pain meds will take care of the body aches at least. Just call me LLimbaugh77 from now on.
