you didn't say,,,what is the header heat problem???
why do you think you need to reduce the headers heat?
motor running hot?
cooling the headers with fans won't help that much at all...
(and blowing hot air at the firewall will make the interior hotter)

because of the HUGE amount of pipes surface square inches radiating tremendous btu's of heat,,,they do make a engine compartment hotter versus a stock exhaust manifold....
