Question corvair ifs

Is there anyone still using the corvair ifs in their rods,I can probably pick up a complete unit cheap and was considering installing it on my 37 chevy p/u. Anyone have any insights on using the corvair ifs instead of a mustang ifs. Jeff

junkyardjeff,

My only thought is the front end of a Corvair was made to handle very light weight, you know, no engine. The Fords at least were made to handle an engine even if it is a small one. Also finding replacement parts or up-grade parts I think would be harder to find for the Corvair.

Have Fun
