corvette headers for side pipes

i have a 64 corvette that i plan to put 2.5 stock side pipes from a 67 vette. can someone let me know if you can put any kind of after market header that will work with this set up. i do not want to use the stock manifolds, and do not want to use the hooker side pipes . thanks

Also look into Hedman Headers. They angle out to hook up to a side pipe set up. The other headers mentioned will be high end $$ wise. Hedman's will be more reasonable. ( I assume you have a small block) C/GAS

Hooker used to make side mount headers that were direct fit.

I ran a set on a camaro once and they were excellent quality.

Actually if you need more flow because of higher power, you CAN put up to 4.0" pipes UNDER 63-67 factory side pipe covers. Just needs a little spacing.

Have you tried getting comments from the guys on the Corvette Forum? There are a lot of them that run the headers with the factory side pipes. Surely one of them will know or has run the setup that you want to put on. Give it a try.
