Corvette rear spring and adjustable hanger kit

I have a 33 Ford with a vette rear-end. I'm putting a Posies super slide rear spring in and I also have his adjustable hanger pin kit. Does anyone have this set-up. Have you had any problems getting everything fitted properly. Is the ride OK. It looks like when you tighten the nut up against the spring and against the trailing arm the pins seem too rigid and don't seem to give any like the stock corvette bolts, they can flex. What about the cups that hold the rubber donut. How do you flare the ends over in the spring and in the trailing arms. Thanks, Frank
